Personal thoughts on Professor Lars Olof Björn’s impact on plant UV photobiology and on Swedish popular science over the last three decades (at least)
Professor Lars Olof Björn has for many decades been the humble front figure of Swedish plant UV photobiology as well as a successful advocate for popularization of science in his native country. On the occasion of his 80th birthday, I take the opportunity to share some personal reflections on his importance for different aspects of the development of science.
